Joining the TEFE Network: Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)

Institutions, schools, and other educational stakeholders can join the TEFE network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a TEFE partner institution, acting within the framework of the TEFE consortium.

By signing an MoU, an institution or school publicly expresses its intention to engage with the TEFE vision and to support the TEFE Framework for the Internationalisation of Teaching Practice and Employability (2023). This includes a shared commitment to promoting the internationalisation of teaching practice, teacher mobility, professional development, and positive intercultural learning environments for future teachers of English.

MoUs are signed with individual TEFE partner institutions and provide a gateway to participation in the wider TEFE network and its activities. All MoUs represent a voluntary, non-binding commitment and carry no legal or academic obligations. They are designed to minimise administrative barriers while encouraging meaningful and sustainable collaboration across institutions.

Different MoU templates are available for higher education institutions, schools, and other stakeholder organisations[LHMP1] . Institutions interested in joining the TEFE network are invited to select the appropriate template and contact the project coordination team at tefe.project@gmail.com to discuss next steps.
