The first official TEFE meeting , originally scheduled to take place in Bratislava, was organized as an online event between the 22nd and the 25th of November 2020. The International Staff Training 1 (IST1) gathered all project partners as well as teachers and student-teachers from Bratislava.
One of the meeting’s outcomes was a comparison of the teaching training programmes offered at the partners institutions. While considerable differences exist, all partners agreed that TEFE can contribute to enhancing teacher training programmes by the increasing the internationalization of internships.
Another highely valued experience was listening to the voices of in-service teachers and student-teachers who provided their unique accounts of the perception of university-based ELT teacher training and its impact on pedagogical practices.
